The Device offers a 4.8inch Super Amoled HD display, thus making the Galaxy SIII Samsung’s second largest phone display after the Samsung Galaxy Note’s 5.3inch display. The screen is absolutely amazing, it’s pretty crisp and sharp and the pixel density is great. On the top of the device there is an ear peace and a 1.9MP front facing camera and let’s not forget the sensors which are at the proximity sensor and the light sensor which are at the top as well. On the left hand side you can view the volume rocker while on the right side you can see the power button. The micro USB is at the bottom and the head jack is at the top. You have got only one physical button at the screen with two capacitive buttons. The device has an 8MP camera similar to that of the Galaxy SII but with a better flash. The back camera shoots video at 1080p and the front at 720p. The device is very very thin and not only that it weighs less also weighing only 133g. The device is created with hyper glaze technology and the back is made of poly carbonate plastic. The device has a 2100mAh battery which seems to last very long with moderate use.
Software
The Device runs on Android 4.0.4 Ice cream Sandwich which is the latest version of Android. The UI is overlaid with Samsung’s TouchWiz interface. Like all the other Android devices the Galaxy SIII has a notification bar at the top which looks very good in the device with some shortcuts listed in the bar. This device introduced many new smart features. One of them is the Direct Call”. With this smart feature you can call the currently displayed contact by simply lifting the phone up to your ear. The device has some great camera features such as it can capture up to 20 continuous shots. It also recommends the best photo from a burst of 8 shots and let’s not forget that you can also capture high resolution photos while recording an HD video. One of the best features is that it understands what you say through natural language processing; you can access and activate applications through your voice. You can also share photos and stuff instantly with the S Beam, all you have to do is touch the back of the two SIII devices and you have shared the photo instantly. There is also a new feature called the pop up play. With this feature you can watch HD videos while you email text or surf the web.
