The Sony Xperia U is yet another Android smart phone launched by Sony in 2012. The Xperia U is a small budget smart phone but with the dual core processor and the smart design it is worth a look. You have got three responsive touch-sensitive buttons on the screen that work pretty nicely. The 3.5mm head jack is at the top with a micro USB socket used for charging and for transferring files to your computer. The device has a 5MP back camera with auto focus and LED flash. The Back camera is capable of shooting HD videos at 720p. The Xperia U is 12mm thin and it weighs only 110g. The device also supports multi-touch up to 4 fingers.
Software
Sony Xperia U originally came with Android 2.3 Gingerbread but it has received a new update to Android 4.0. The Xperia U features the Timescape user interface. The Timescape UI is pretty impressive as with Timescape widget you can easily view all of your text messages and not only that you can view your call log, excluding all this you can easily view all of your Facebook posts and other posts in twitter and etc. So Timescape makes social networking easy for its users in a way. Like all the other Android smart phones the Xperia U has a notification bar at the top which is pretty useful as you get all of your notifications in one place.
